Cheryl Weber
Dean of Students

I am extremely humbled and feel quite honored to be the Dean of Students at the Indian Community School. I believe my depth and breadth of experience and knowledge of ICS culture, students, staff and families is advantageous in this position. As an educator it is extremely important to me that we create an atmosphere where students can grow spiritually, morally, emotionally, physically, socially, artistically and intellectually.

I obtained my Master’s degree in Education from Boston College in 1991. In August of 1993 I began my professional journey at Indian Community School as a 3rd grade teacher. After 15 years in the classroom I then became a Reading Teacher and then Director of Instructional Support. As I begin my 26th year, I am still passionate about the possibilities that can occur at ICS and I am extremely proud of what has been accomplished thus far. The last six years I have been the chair of our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support) committee. We have been recognized by the state as a School of Merit for five years.

I live in Milwaukee with my husband Jim. We have three adult sons Jake, Jordan and Jeremy. I have also been a high school dive coach of over 20 years and have had the honor to coach four state champions along the way.
